  • The Canadian Co-operative Wool Growers, and their MB Wool Depots are getting ready to send off their wool for the year.  Don't delay and contact your nearest delivery depot to arrange drop off.  Please call ahead, the operators are sheep producers like yourself and would like to be home to assist in unloading and issuing of receipts.  Here is the link to the MB Wool Depots

Congratulations to Maria Stiglmayr for capturing the Intermediate Shearing Class during the Calgary Stampede Super Shear competition.  The Intermediate class was offered this year to provide younger and semi-pro shearers an opportunity to compete at this world class event.  5 Canadians took part with Maria, who farms near Fraserwood with her parents, coming out with the successful finish.  Way to go!
